Attwood & Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales, by Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. The company became renowned for high-quality costume jewellery inspired by historic and royal designs, most notably pieces based on the Duchess of Windsor’s collection. Their work was sold through prestigious retailers across the UK and Europe, and they later supplied jewellery for television series such as Dallas and Dynasty, as well as the Miss World pageant. Acquired by Buckley Jewellery in 2001, the brand’s vintage pieces remain highly collectible today.
Produced during the glamorous 1970s–1980s—the same era when Princess Diana was rising as a global style icon and popularising bold, accessible British fashion and jewellery—this signed Attwood & Sawyer brooch reflects the playful yet refined spirit of that decade. Perfect for collectors of signed vintage costume jewellery, dog lovers, or anyone seeking a distinctive British statement piece.
Our pieces are vintage and pre-loved, and may show signs of wear consistent with their age. We photograph and describe each piece as accurately as we can, though very minor imperfections may not always be visible in photos.
