This striking vintage D’Orlan 1980s brooch depicts a toucan in a dimensional, wearable design. The large polished 22ct triple gold-plated beak contrasts with a rich cobalt-blue enamel head featuring a bright red faceted stone eye. A vivid green enamel wing is framed by rows of clear round Swarovski crystals that also outline the body and tail, while the textured 22ct triple gold-plated feet and perch add realistic detail. The reverse shows a sturdy pin with safety clasp and the clear maker’s mark “© D’ORLAN.”
D’Orlan Jewellery Ltd. was founded in Toronto, Canada, in 1957 by Maurice Bradden, who trained under the renowned designer Marcel Boucher. The company produced high-end costume jewellery, later acquired Boucher’s molds and company (1979), and partnered with Nina Ricci (1984).
D’Orlan is well regarded for superior craftsmanship, including its durable 22ct triple gold-plated finish over a pewter or similar base metal, fine enamel work, and the use of quality Austrian Swarovski crystals.

Delivery & returns
Free UK delivery on orders of £150 or more, and £6.95 below that. Every parcel is tracked and insured. Orders are dispatched within two working days, and delivery usually takes a further two working days.
You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you would like to return a piece, and a further 14 days to send it back. Return postage is paid by the customer, unless the piece is faulty, damaged, or not as we described it.
